When I created the Cute Cute Cute Girls jam, to be honest, I had no ideas for what game I'd want to make for it myself. I attempted a few projects that I quickly gave up on, then, three days before the deadline, I decided that I'll do a game about the hero's harem party members having a girls-only night where the joke was that the whole time they would only talk about how much they want to fuck the hero. Due to some unforeseen yet inevitable family problems, I didn't end up making it at that time.

Some time passes, and the Labor jam is now a thing. I initially thought about making either a "Child Labor Tycoon" where you hire children to work for you, or a "Slave Simulator" where you play as a slave working for your owner. Then I looked at the jam's timer and realized there's only one week left, and I wasn't going to make any of those in a week. So, in the end, I made this game.

The big differences from my original idea were:

• I officially made it a side story to Town Gate Guard Simulator, rather than a story of its own
• only 5 girls instead of the original 7 I wanted
• changed the main joke to making fun of hero Alex's weirdness

Honestly, these changes were most likely for the better.
